Description:

There have always been strong ties between the Creeks and the Seminoles. Their cultures and languages are very similar, and centuries ago the tribes were once one. Tiger himself was Creek-Seminole, and although he grew up among the Creeks he had a rich Seminole heritage. He did many Seminole paintings, but six of his Seminoles are in a class by themselves. They have in common a white background, an Everglades setting, and a single male figure that seems to be waiting- almost supended in time.
